2. Information We Collect
- Account information: When you register or log in via Google, we receive your email address, name, and a unique identifier from your identity provider (Google). We store only what is necessary to operate your account.
- Profile information: Display name (pen name), biography, and avatar URL that you choose to provide.
- Activity data: Posts you publish, reactions you cast, and comments you leave on the platform.
- Payment information: When you purchase credits, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number or payment details — only the transaction outcome and credit balance.
- Usage data: Page views, browser type, and IP address collected in standard server logs. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and maintain your account and credit balance.
- To display your public profile and published works.
- To process credit purchases and award cash-outs.
- To send transactional emails (account verification, payment receipts). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
4. Authentication
We use AWS Cognito as our authentication provider. The login page at auth.sukkee.net is a managed AWS service that handles your credentials securely. We never see or store your Google password. Authentication tokens are short-lived and stored only in your browser's session storage.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- AWS — cloud infrastructure (Cognito, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Law enforcement when required by applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, personal information is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records).
7. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Access and update your profile information via your Dashboard.
- Request a copy of your personal data by emailing info@sukkee.net.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
8. Cookies
We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
